During his 20 year career at GE Capital, Wakeman had roles of increasing responsibility in operations, technology, business development, P&L leadership, Country Leadership and Regional Leadership. He has lived in 6 countries and worked in 32. Over a 5 year period, he built the GE Money Latin America Region from a start up to a 9 country region, servicing over 5 million customers, 1000 branches, with a range of lending and fee products and 17,000 employees. Wakeman was also the CEO of a regional bank, the co- founder of a software start-up, writer, board member, strategic advisor and CEO coach.

Ricardo Cano is a seasoned banker, consultant and advisor, having worked in senior roles at multiple financial institutions in the U.S. and throughout Latin America during the past 25 years. He has acted as advisor to enterprises of all sizes with respect to optimizing capital structures and has closed over 400 fundraising transactions. Cano’s entrepreneurial experience includes founding Gateway Capital Advisors in 2013, which is an advisory boutique that provides strategic advice and execution expertise to companies as they access the financial markets and overcome “growing pains”, as well as co-founding LaunchPad Holdings in 2015.
